Subhash Chandra resigns as chairman of Zee Ent

Subhash Chandra, founder of Zee Entertainment Enterprises and pioneer of India’s private satellite television, has stepped down from the chairman’s position, four days after his stake in the company fell to 5%. Chandra’s resignation brings an end to his role as the head of Zee, a company he founded in 1992 after economic liberalisation kicked off.
